This event has ended.

It has been 400 years since the Hikone castle was built, and the Nagahama Castle Historical Museum presents the exhibition series, "Hikone Han Government and Kohoku Nagahama." The series is composed of four themes that explore the relationship between the Kohoku area and Hikone, as well as its history and culture. This exhibition is part two of the series, and focuses on the Sawayama castle's historical narrative from its establishment and its connections with Kazumasa Isono, Hidemasa Hori and Narimitsu Ishida. Exhibited items include references on their correspondences as well as historical documentation on the Kohoku area before the establishment of Hikone Han.
