Namura Art Meeting '04-'34: Experiments at the Old Namura Ship Factory Vol. 2 "Process I"

For vol.02 "Process I," the theme is "ocean charts," which are composed by accumulated knowledge, and are essential in navigating one through one's journey in the ocean.
From September 1st to 2nd, four artists will present their work at a space that neighbors the ocean, focusing on one's process (experimental displays, sample works, presentations, etc). Each artist is active in using media, reflecting the shift from industrial to technological in the Japanese industry and economy. The art meeting hopes to initiate dialogue on the new expressions of media art that were founded in the late 20th century. The art event will feature workshops and performances, club event, party, cruise and cafe.
