This event has ended.

The Azuchi Momoyama period was a war torn era and a shift in the power structure. The Buddhist statues and sculptures produced during this time were a representation of strong faith and have become important historical documentation.
The exhibition is a continuation of the Buddhist sculptures exhibition held three years ago. This time, there will be a more solid focus on statues and approximately 182 works will be on display.
