This event has ended.
Shukei Yo (1839-1915) visited Japan in 1880 as an ambassador. During his four and a half year stay, he interacted actively with Japanese literary figures. In addition, he shared his calligraphy techniques and is now said to have a strong influence on the direction of Japanese calligraphy. In the exhibition, there will be works by Shukei Yo and his successors on display.
