The exhibition displays 122 works by Jakuchu Ito (1716-1800) a prominent Japanese painting artist during the Edo period (1603-1868). His works have gained much popularity in recent years on an international level. Two of his masterpieces, one of a Buddhist statue and one of animals and plants, reunite in the exhibition after a 120-year period.
