This event has ended.

In the late 18th century, Rococo style fashion became a prominent trend among the French elites. The delicate and elegant ornamentation, which can be seen in lace, are characteristic of the period. When mannequins adorn the costumes from 250 years ago, it would seem very dramatic and much like a film setting. The exhibition features female costumes from the Rose of Versailles such as the robe à la française and robe à l’anglaise, along with male costumes such as the elegant habits à la française. Through these costumes, viewers can directly feel the flamboyant life before the French Revolution.
