"The Dream that Never Ends; Final Works by Modern Japanese Artists" Exhibition

Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art

This event has ended.

What do artists, right before their death, look at and express through their art? This may be a question of interest not only to art enthusiasts but to people in general.
The exhibition will have 90 works on display by both Japanese and Western style painters of modern Japan (Meiji era to the contemporary). Displayed works vary from half-finished sketches left in the artist's studio to completed paintings that were displayed in a gallery setting.
