Shoichi Futami supported the postwar world of Japanese printmaking with works based in a profound use of the color blue and a style rich in wit. The Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art is currently showing a major exhibition of Futami’s work through January 19th. Hiro Gallery presents twenty-five of his prints with a concentration on his small workss.
