Exhibition of works by Nihonga painter Ikuo Hirayama (1930-2009), renowned for his depictions of Silk Road landscapes and Buddhist themes, as well as his efforts as a UN ambassador to save cultural heritage monuments around the world. In addition, treasures of Central Asia from the artist’s personal collection will be on display that were accumulated over a 30-year period.
