Lost Spaces

This exhibition of explores the idea of “lost spaces”: in the context of daily life, this could be the demolishing of a building, or even its construction. The subject has particular significance now, with the huge loss of spaces as a consequence of the nuclear disaster in Fukushima. These works of photography and film ask the question: in such situations, is it right to simply accept this loss as change that must inevitably occur with the passage of time?
