Room 1 presents several spring-inspired exhibits, including “ Merchants and Girls’ Festival Dolls,” “Bridal Robes and Girls’ Festival Dolls,” “Merchants’ Bridal Clothing,” and “Musubi Obi.” The 5th floor displays an outstanding selection of Chinese calligraphy from the museum’s collection, and the 4th floor showcases textbooks, children’s games, and other items offering a glimpse at education in the Showa era. Several Girls’ Festival doll sets on loan from Shiga Prefecture residents are also on display.
