In 2012 the Design Creative Center hosted the first “Chibi Kobe,” a creative workshop that lets children plan their own dream towns. The second Chibi Kobe session will be held this October. In preparation, the center is hosting “Chibi Kobe lectures” for anyone interested in helping run the event. The lectures feature guest speakers with experience planning events for children in various cities. The speakers for this session are Ayumi Kondo, organizer of Nagoya’s “Dagane Land”, an interactive model town for kids, and Masashi Sogabe, an architect who has led “town planning” workshops for Dagane Land.
