The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an important international event dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry. Taking place every year in the ancient city of Bologna in the northern Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy, last year saw 1,200 exhibitors from 75 countries.
This exhibition will consist of 36 pieces, including works by the 2013 winner of the IV International Award for Illustration, Satoe Tone. 18 original illustrations from her award winning children’s book, “The Travels of Pipo,” is on display. In addition, the work of Taro Miura who received high praise for his exhibition at the Bologna Museum of Modern Art this year, can be enjoyed.
