Currently undertaking her doctoral studies at Kyoto University of Art & Design, Kaori Ebata is known for her delicate paintings of women upon washi paper, each instilled with an enigmatic smiling expression. In this exhibition Ebata continues her recent experimental investigations of metallic leaf, taking over the various spaces of the gallery, from its windows to spiral staircase with a series of works which display a range of approaches to this material.
