Wool Clothing— From Ancient Times To the Present
Kobe Fashion Museum
This event has ended.
People have been developing wool in their search for wealth throughout the roughly 10,000 years that sheep have been a part of human history. Clothing our bodies and warming our hearts, wool has evolved from a raw material to thread, cloth, folk costumes, fashion, and finally art. Introducing the diversity, beauty, and possibilities of wool clothing, this exhibition explores what kinds of clothing allow use to live richly and raises questions about what it truly means to have an abundant life.
