The second World Heritage-themed exhibition of 2014 presents around 20 sketches of Enryaku-ji Monastary on Mt. Hiei draw by Ikuo Hirayama between 1996 and 1998. Also on display are a major painting based on these sketches presented at a Japan Art Academy exhibition, cultural assets depicting the ancient capitals and registered World Heritage sites Kyoto and Nara, and a National Treasure temple bell with ties to Mt. Hiei shown to the public for the first time in three years.
