Environmental education using gorillas is conducted in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon in Africa. The gorilla is chosen due to its proximity with the human race within the evolutionary process. The fact that it coexists with many other species in tropical rain forests makes it a worthy candidate for education.
Issues relating to environmental education will be introduced.
