Showcasing the diversity of modern Shigaraki ceramics with works dating from the Meiji Restoration (1868–1912) through pieces by contemporary artist Taro Okamoto. Recently excavated works are among the examples of displayed Shiragaki ware tracing the history of Japan’s modernization.
