This is an introduction into Osaka’s relationship with other cities and countries through archaeological artifacts - namely imported porcelain and ceramics - discovered from excavations undertaken by the Osaka City Cultural Properties Association in Osaka City, primarily between the Toyotomi period and Tokugawa periods (from the late 16th to the early 19th century).
