Organised by the Seian University of Art and Design in Shiga Prefecture, “Seian Arts Attention” is an art festival which is held at all the galleries and other exhibition spaces in the university. Now in its eighth year, the aim of the project is to show what Ohmi is now, referring to its history, people, nature, industry and so on, based on the researches by the Research Institute of the Seian University of Art and Design and Musubu Shiga. Shigeki Hattori, the branding director of this project, has played a prominent role in leading the students in their research on the Shiga prefecture and presenting their own views on it. This is a chance to discover the unknown attractions of Shiga and the new values that are created from it.
