Stop Cultural Asset Theft!

There have been multiple incidents of theft of Buddhist statues and other cultural assets around the country. It is time we all came together to consider this serious problem and what we can due to stop the loss cultural treasures important to regional heritage. Focusing on stolen assets and introducing experts on the issue, this exhibition is an appeal to preventing further cases. There will also be a special display of a Kannon Goddess standing statue from Kokawa Temple, exhibited publicly for the first time.
