2016 NHK Historical Drama “Sanada Maru”

Sanada Nobushige (better known by the name of Sanada Yukimura) was a legendary commander during Japan’s Warring States period and one of Japan’s most popular historical figures. This exhibition will showcase historical artifacts from his life, such as signed letters, weapons and armor he used, and a drawing of the Sanada Maru fortress, to help visitors gain a deeper understanding into his personality and the Warring States period. This will be the only opportunity for the public to be shown some of these artifacts, which makes this exhibition a must-see.
