This exhibition features contemporary 2D, 3D, and moving image works on the topic of “thought,” alongside modern art and archeological items from the museum’s collection.
Tatsuo Kawaguchi is active domestically and internationally, focusing on his theme of the relationships between the visible and the invisible. Zon Ito spins together fragments of everyday life through the media of embroidery, sculpture, and animation. Yuko Ozawa sways the focus of consciousness with her works combining video, sound and text. Kotaro Maetani presents video works made by collecting light from all sources, both natural and electric, and reconstructing them.
