Ken Hamaguchi graduated from the Japanese painting course at Tama Art University in 1997. He mainly worked as an illustrator until 2008, after which he debuted as an artist with an exhibition held in Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka, Tokyo. This exhibition displays paintings constructed from a collage of realistic depictions of cats and dogs, images of celebrities, logos, record covers and text.
