Satomi Watanabe uses the word ‘superimpose’ to refer to a process of combining two or more elements to bring in different perspectives with regards to space and time. Her landscape photographs taken with a 35mm digital camera are edited digitally and combined to produce one long panorama shot that offers a multitude of perspectives.
