This exhibition showcases Japanese swords associated with sumo wrestling, including tachi swords used by successive yokozuna grand champions in ring-entering ceremonies, along with sumo wrestler’s ornamental aprons, prints of sumo wrestlers, and other sumo-related artifacts. The exhibition will also uncover the history of Osaka Sumo by showcasing artifacts held in the collection of Osaka Museum of History.
