Nishinomiya City’s Otani Memorial Art Museum acquired 73 new works through donation in 2016. The eleven artists include Etsuko Kawamura, who was featured in a solo exhibition in 2016, Naoko Matsuhara, the first Japanese artist to present work in the Bologna Exhibition, and Kagaku Murakami, a founder of the Kokugasokaku Kyokai painting association established in 1918. All of the newly acquired works are on display.
