Founded in 1977 this museum is dedicated to the extensive tea utensil collection of Kinjiro Kitamura (1904-1991). The collection includes 33 important cultural assets including a tea bowl by famous Edo-period potter Ninsei Nonomura and other articles of rare beauty. The museum is also host to special thematic exhibitions during the Spring and Autumn seasons.
