The Otsu City Museum of History has educated the public about Otsu City's history and culture since 1990. In addition to its permanent exhibition on Otsu with video and model presentations, the museum holds a number of exhibitions and events throughout the year.

From 9:00 to 17:00
Closed on Mondays
Note:Irregular holidays. Open on a public holiday Monday but closed the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.

Fee

Adults ¥270; University Students and High School Students ¥200; Junior High and Elementary School Students ¥130; Seniors over 65 and Registered Disabled Residing in Otsu-shi free. Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
