"Sakai's Ceramics" Exhibition

After the middle of the Edo period, the townsfolk acquired wealth and invested in culture. Their hobbies included tea ceremonies, and it spread among them. Also, in the late Edo period, a new form of tea ceremony, Zen Sado was established.
The exhibition presents ceramic equipment used in tea ceremonies from the Sakai area during the Edo period.
