This event has ended.

The Museum of Ceramic Art, Hyogo celebrates its third year after opening its doors in October 2005.
Since its opening, the museum has focused on local ceramic art and continues to collect both modern and contemporary ceramic works. The collection has now expanded to about 260, and the exhibition will feature approximately half of the collection. At the same time, the exhibition hopes to question what it means to express oneself through the ceramic arts. This initiative is a continuum of the "Contemporary Ceramics Featuring the Hiroshi Tanaka Collection" exhibition that took place in December 2005.
With the "Artist in Tamba" residency artist Yo Akiyama, the exhibition initiates looking from different perspectives when approaching contemporary ceramics.
