Illustration vs Fine Art?
The pieces in this show ask the reader where the line is between illustration and fine art. The cross over techniques, composition and design elements in each of the pieces, as well as the media chosen for expression blur the already undefined borderline between the two disciplines. More importantly, we are the one who have to make the distinction, and its not a comfortable distinction to make. Overall, the show's loaded with energy and a vibrant style from all 5 artists. Some have even called it "sexy". One thing's for sure, all these artists have bright futures ahead of them.
