Kosho Shimizu, the former director of Todai-ji Temple, traveled to many places in Japan and abroad. He created sketch diaries documenting everything from people, landscapes, local crafts and depictions of his own creative activities. This exhibition features Shimizu's documentations of travels in Europe, China, Korea and Mexico in ink from 1971 to 1985.
