"The Beauty of Japanese Painting; the Color of the Four Seasons" Exhibition

For this exhibition, there will be paintings that reflect the colorful four seasons in Japan. The 70 works exhibited, will be arranged according to the following themes; "Landscapes with Cherry Blossoms," "Songs of Nature," "Thinking of Himeji Castle," "Four Seasons seen in Narrative and History," "Flowers and Birds Paintings," and "Playing in the Mountains." Works exhibited include Yasuo Kuniyoshi's "the Village's Prettiest Girl" and Sanzo Wada's "the Crane Crossing," along with an exhibit of the museum's latest acquisitions.
