The bountiful colors and fantasy-filled works that Chagall produced have been accepted all over the world. His subject matter varies from lovers, flowers, animals, circus and the bible, which all express his endless love and passion towards life.
In addition to his subject matters, Chagall also renders beautiful landscapes in the background. The landscapes of his homeland Russia (currently Belarus) and his "second home" Paris are a documentation of his travels.
