"Sparkles from the Belle Époque: Fascinating Jewelry and Glass Crafts" Exhibition

From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, European culture flourished with Paris being the cultural center. During the period known as the "Belle Époque," Paris housed many artists and artisans, and nurtured world-scale industries. With the invention of mechanical reproduction, artists were able to create multiples of their original works. Jewelry that is still valued to this day were mostly created during this period, including those by Cartier and Chaumet.
The exhibition features approximately 100 jewelry and glass works that were produced in Europe between the late 19th century to around WWI. The highlight of the exhibition includes works from the Art Deco period by René Lalique.
