Morihiro Hosokawa, the 18th master of the Hosokawa family, was born in 1938 and was a renowned politician serving as the Kumamoto prefecture governor and the 79th Japanese prime minister.
After retiring from the political world in 1998, he has devoted his time in creating ceramics such as the Shigaraki, Karatsu, Raku and Koryo and his works are recognized.
This exhibition features about 130 works which includes tea ceramics, calligraphy and Japanese lacquers by Hosokawa.
