The exhibition will feature Makonde sculptures representing the Makonde people's agricultural life. People of the Makonde tribe originated from either Nigeria or Cameroon and they currently live in the Makonde plains where they practice agriculture. Makonde people have produced a wide range of sculptural styles including representative sculptures that depict agricultural life to abstract sculptures that depict myths. Approximately 20 works will be on display.
