This event has ended.

During the Heian period (between 9th - 12th century), a specific style of costumes for court nobles were formed. The colorful costumes, that were commonly layered on a single body were inspired from costumes from the Nara period that had a Chinese influence. The exhibition features various types of costumes including Noushi, Uchiki and Fukusa, that exemplify the cultural richness of costumes from the Heian period.
