Kyotaro Aoki, a graduate of Saga University of Arts, will hold a slide presentation. She is known for creating works that are conceptually derived from fantasy, but are rendered with a "grotesque-ness" through excessive lines and condensed imagery.
After debuting in 1997 on Comic CUE (a manga magazine), the artist stepped into the fields of commercial illustration and manga. However, Aoki's most current works reside on a more borderless medium where she explores constructing a narrative through images.
