Takahiro Hayakawa presents his work on a "digital tableau," an original contraption made to exhibit his animation. In his works, both the animation (content) and projection apparatus (hardware) have important roles; typically in video work, discrepancies occur between the artist's expectations and the actual projection size and resolution, depending on the environment and the projector. Hayakawa's digital tableau avoids the undesirable effect by creating fixing conditions for his pieces.
"En (Loop)" is a high-definition loop animation, multiplying his seven small hand-drawn animations to complete a longer animation. For this work, he chose the resolution of 1920 × 1080px in order to maintain its clarity.
