Art marbles are made one by one by glass artists who add intricate patterns and colors. These marbles have attracted people of various ages in art marble competitions and exchange sessions. Yukoh Morito, a prominent art marbles collector, former CEO of Moritex Corporation, and former director of Tamano Museum (closed September 2006) has a wide collection of art marbles, paperweights and art beads from around the world. The exhibition will feature Morito's collection of approximately 150 works by contemporary artists and studios.
