Ceramics have been produced throughout our country for such a long time that we cannot disregard its importance in our daily lives today. The process of creating ceramic works are heavily influenced by the techniques and designs in Asian countries such as China and Korea. China, especially became a big inspiration to pottery in the whole world by creating countless unparalleled ceramic works during its history. The Korean peninsula also established its unique ceramic style by incorporating Chinese influences, and in Japan, ceramic works were used regularly by masters of the tea ceremonies. This exhibition focuses on Chinese, Korean and Japanese ceramic works, and compares and traces the genealogy of beauty in ceramics.
*Exhibiting at the General Exhibition Room and Planned Exhibition Room.
