"'Yumeju-ya (Ten Nights of Dream)' is a collection of short stories by Natsume Souseki. Reading this book far too many times has inspired me to create works using its title.
'Yumeju-ya' is composed of ten stories that narrate one dream from each night.
Once a year, I present an exhibition focusing on this theme.
It has been five years since when I was a high schooler, and had a strong urge to tell people how I felt after reading about the first night. It's quite a surprise to see this expand into a series of works."
