Omizutori (official name is Syunie) is an event held at Todaiji Nigatsudo, performing the repentance for an error to the Juichimen Kannon (Kannon with 11 faces). This has been carried on since the Heian period and this year's event will mark the 1257th.
This exhibition features paintings, scroll paintings, icons, writing references and crafts relating with Omizutori.
