This event has ended.

Manga in Taiwan, where Japanese manga has been introduced most in the world, has developed with magazines created by young cartoonists with large influence of Japanese pre-war comics. Manga boom in Taiwan experienced its peak around 1960.
However, it declined after the introduction of censorship in 1966. As a result, Japanese comics became more popular because the regulation placed on them were not so strict.
This exhibition features Taiwanese manga that is familiar to Japanese and also open to the world through its history and major works and cartoonists.
*Exhibiting at 2F Gallery 2.
