The "Hokuto Group" was established in 1958 by young artists who studied under Hideo Nishiyama. It is 50th exhibition in its series, and the artist members, who were in their early or mid-career stages when the group was formed, are now professional artists in their 70s to 90s.
The exhibition features new works by eight present members and past works by three artists. This will be the final retrospective exhibition by the Hokuto Group held at the Nara Prefectural Complex of Manyo Culture.
