"Summer Children's Art Museum: Go Go! Stop! Go!!" Exhibition
The Museum of Modern Art, Shiga
This event has ended.
Since 2001, the Museum of Modern Art, Shiga, has scheduled the "Summer Children's Art Museum" series during the months of July and August as part of its educational programming. The exhibition targets elementary and junior high school students, so they can deepen their knowledge of art through the exhibition itself and interactive guides such as worksheets, quiz panels and wall texts.
This year, the exhibition focuses on the topic of how time is expressed in Japanese paintings and contemporary art. How is time recorded in works that have no kinetic elements? Children and their families are encouraged to tour the exhibition space in search for the answer.
In addition, there will be the "Bikkuri Museum" workshops held for children in the museum.
