The Ashiya Pot has the longest history among tea ceremony pots, and is known for its unique patterns. Of the nine pots that have been designated as the Important National Treasure, eight are of the Ashiya kind.
This exhibition features selected works from the Goto Museum and Hosomi Museum collections, as well as "the world of tea ceremony" that was highly adored by the two prominent collectors, Goto and Hosomi.
