The exhibition features works by Yoshio Nakamura, an artist who was raised in Ako. He was born in Ako's Ozaki, and studied at Tokyo Art School (currently Tokyo Geijutsu) under Kiyoteru Kuroda and Eisaku Wada. In 1921, he studied abroad at France and exhibited works at Le Salon d'Automne. After returning to Japan, he established connections with literary figures such as Naoya Shiga as well as the Tabuchi family.
